A group of dream thiefs infiltrate the dreams of others to extract valuable information.
The concept of dreams is an abstract one and the movie does a good job at portraying this. Leonardo DiCaprio, working together with Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Tom Hardy, Ellen Page, and Cillian Murphy, play an interesting bunch of characters.
In the movie there are lots of different and interesting settings that add to the science fiction vibe. However, because the subject is an abstract one you’re often trying to comprehend what’s happening and that takes away from the movie itself. Nolan is a great director and his films are wonderful, but they often take on topics that can be hard to understand for audiences, especially ones who just want to watch movies for fun.
Interesting movie with a unique concept, but hard to comprehend at times.
